The top half of the bungee lead, including the handle, has a core made of 4 strands of 4mm thick shock cord with an unusual twisted cobra weave over the top. The twisted weave will be in the 2 colours you select for your lead but can be made in one of the colours if you prefer.
Each bungee strand has a breaking strength of 120 pounds which provides an overall breaking strength of 480 pounds. In other words, it’s very strong! The bungee section will add a foot onto the length of your lead when fully extended.
The bottom half of the lead is all Paracord 550 which provides greater control of your dog when needed.
The bungee handle makes the lead very comfortable to hold and the stretch in the lead stops the impact on your hand, arm and shoulder if your dog pulls. It’s also gentle on your dog’s neck.

Care and attention
All items are machine washable, they won’t shrink or stretch and will look like new after washing. Tie a sock (or similar) over the metal parts as this will avoid damage to your washing machine. Allow to dry naturally.
Spray any moving parts of clips/buckles with lubricant occasionally to avoid damage to springs, especially after washing.
